student hardship assistance fund
donate to the student hardship assistance fund
as an extension of the university’s commitment to pastoral care, the student hardship assistance fund offers support to students who need emergency assistance while continuing their studies at the university of notre dame australia.
this fund exists because of the ongoing generosity of our university community and has been set up in direct response to the challenges many of our students are currently facing due to the global covid-19 health crisis.
the fund provides up to $1000 per student for the critical support they need while studying. students can apply online and some have already done so.
as a faith-based university, we have a responsibility to be good stewards with the gifts we receive from our donors, alumni, and friends. the current unprecedented situation is befitting of these funds being put to work.
the university relies on philanthropic support via our annual appeal to ensure that we can provide an enriching educational experience, fulfilling commitments to the community and providing financial assistance to ensure all our students have access to the same life-changing experiences.
our focus this year is the student hardship assistance fund. if you feel led to make a gift to the university to replenish this essential source of student support, we would be grateful to hear from you. your donations are put to work in a myriad of ways, always with the welfare and education of our students at the forefront.
this financial support will help our students who may be facing unforeseen hardships and unanticipated expenses - to pay for groceries, medical expenses, or provide technology for students experiencing barriers to online learning at home.
thank you for your continued support of notre dame.
